“No Universe Needed” is a nostalgic 90s adventure indie rock song about action figures, strange little toys, and the worlds we built before everything needed a franchise. It remembers toy stores that felt like portals, vacation finds you couldn’t get at home, unknown heroes from different shelves, and the feeling that every figure could belong in the same story. At its heart, it’s about childhood imagination — when a sandbox, a car seat, a café table, or a hotel room could become a whole universe, because you were still able to disappear into your own world.
