ROBELSTONE – Soft Edges [Patterns]

“Soft Edges” is about people who make themselves smaller so everyone else can feel comfortable. They fold themselves into whatever shape is needed — smiling when they don’t feel like it, agreeing when they don’t mean it, and quietly disappearing into the background. Over time they forget what they actually want, because taking up space started to feel dangerous. The song is both sad and strangely tender toward that version of a person. From the album “Patterns”.
