Paolo Sánchez Carrasco was a 14-year-old boy who disappeared on July 12 in Coyoacán and was found dead on July 19, 2025, in Iztaccíhuatl. He entered the National Park alone without supervision or proper equipment. A video of him showed that he was lost and without protection from the cold. The autopsy indicated hypothermia, although he had bruises and fractures from a probable fall he suffered while seeking shelter.
