AMAZING ENGINEERING .. NEW LINES @ Cambridge South Station

This has been on the cards for years, Addenbrooke's Hospital (which is on the outskirts of Cambridge) having a train station on it's door step. Well now it's happening. Building started over a year ago and it's not having two lines with platforms, but four. Where this video was filmed was at the junction where the King's Cross line parts ways with the London Liverpool Street line (Just before Shelford station. From what it looked like a third line/ relief line from the King's Cross line to run along the existing two lines heading into to Cambridge. I managed to film them taking up soil and stone to lay the foundations for the third line. I went a week or so late to find that they had laid the new track with ballast but haven't place the points in yet and his has be happening over a few weeks.
