CAN YOU TRAVEL DURING COVID? YOU CAN INDEED! Join us in this vlog where we visit Puyo, Ecuador a secondary amazon rainforest and I literally have the best day of my life!!! Our first stop was Paseo Los Monos which translates to Monkey Walk in English. Please listen carefully to the man who explains the sanctuary. There are cages within the compound however they are open to the jungle and the animals are free to come and go as they choose. Most of the animals have been rehomed and come to spend their final years here. My lifelong dream has always been to hold a monkey and although I didn't hold a monkey I certainly had my fair share of up close and personal experiences with one! The owner explained that a monkey may jump on you. but it would only be for a second so if you wanted a picture you would have to be quick. But this little guy stayed on me for what felt like forever, jumped off and then jumped back on again! DREAM COME TRUE!!! Make sure you tune into part two of our jungle tour where we meet an indigenous tribe, take a traditional boat down an amazon river and witness one of the most breathtaking views I have ever seen.
