CAN YOU TRAVEL DURING COVID? YES, YOU CAN! We travelled to Quito, Ecuador in November 2019 and have been travelling ever since! In this vlog we visit the middle of the earth and get the opportunity to have both our feet in the north and south hemispheres at the same time - OR SO WE THOUGHT! Turns out the line is about 250 yards off...but they can't exactly upright a whole monument, museums and one of the biggest tourist attractions in Quito! We were extremely lucky to get the chance to have our photos taken with absolutely no one in the background (due to Covid) but unfortunately, some of the museums were closed. After this, we rode the TelefériQo almost 4,000 meters up the Pichincha Volcano to look out over Cruz Loma. It is one of the highest aerial lifts in the world, and it certainly felt like it! I LOVE rollercoasters but this was so much scarier, I think it's because a rollercoaster is over and done with quickly, but this aerial lift took almost15 minutes up and down! The queue for the lift was about 30 minutes, it was a Saturday, but I can't imagine how long the wait would have been pre covid! Finally, we had been staying in hostels for a little while by this point so we treated ourselves to a nice air B n B for the night. Please, like, comment, share and subscribe.
