PIMP YOUR FOOD! |   / felicitas_then   |   / felicitasthen   | Cookbook: "The Fabulous Recipes of Felicitas Then," Südwest-Verlag, Amazon: http://amzn.to/2oz1eU0 Share your recipe ideas in the comments and THANK YOU for joining. :) If you want to continue supporting me, please share the video on Facebook :) Editing and Camera:   / felix.parker     / felix_parker_      / yschool   Cinnamon Rolls 600 g flour 30 g fresh yeast 80 g sugar 220 to 250 ml lukewarm milk 2 organic medium eggs 1 large pinch of salt 80 g butter Filling 130 g butter 2 tablespoons cinnamon, plus a little extra 2 tablespoons sugar, plus a little extra 3 tablespoons ground almonds 1 large pinch of freshly grated nutmeg Frosting: 100 g powdered sugar 2 tablespoons double cream cheese 1 squeeze of lemon juice 1. Put the flour in a bowl and make a well in the center. Add the dry yeast, sugar, and water to this well (if using fresh yeast, briefly dissolve the yeast in the water first). Then mix everything together for five minutes until you have a dough. This works best with a food processor or the whisk attachment of a hand mixer, but you can also do it by hand. 2. Now you can gradually add the eggs, salt, and butter and continue kneading for about 4 minutes. If the dough is very sticky, simply add an extra tablespoon. 3. Cover the dough with plastic wrap or a damp cloth and let it rise in a warm place for one hour. 4. In the meantime, you can prepare the filling for the cinnamon rolls. Melt the butter in a saucepan and mix together the cinnamon, sugar, nutmeg, and almonds. 5. Once the dough has risen, it's time to roll it out. To do this, roll the dough out on a floured surface into a rectangular shape and as thin as possible. 6. Spread three-quarters of the butter over the dough and then sprinkle the cinnamon mixture evenly over the butter. 7. Now roll the dough as tightly as possible and cut out approximately 7 cm rounds. Place the rounds side by side in a 26 cm springform pan or rectangular baking dish lined with parchment paper. Sprinkle with the remaining butter, a little cinnamon, and sugar, and cover again. 8. Let the cinnamon rolls rest for at least 30 minutes. Then preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit) and bake for about 35 to 40 minutes, until they are nice and crispy. I like them to be soft on the inside. 9. In the meantime, you can make the frosting. Beat the powdered sugar, cream cheese, and lemon juice together until smooth and very thick. If necessary, add more sugar or lemon juice. Remove the cinnamon rolls from the oven, loosen the springform pan and drizzle with the frosting while they are still warm.
