Il Venerdì Santo, durante il rito della deposizione del Cristo dalla croce (s’iscravamentu) i cantori della Confraternita del Rosario eseguono questo Miserere. Il testo, in latino, è tratto dal Libro dei Salmi, mentre la melodia, introdotta dal bassu, viene tramandata per tradizione orale.
