Yellowstone Tour - Upper Geyser Basin - Biscuit Basin & Midway Geyser Basin - Day 1 of 4

**We visited Yellowstone before the devastating floods, our thoughts are with everyone affected. We love using the Gypsy Guide App while driving in the park, it is great at telling you the history and science of the park as well as where to pullover and explore and what to skip. But even with the app I still make an itinerary, I split the National Park into 4 sections and we visited a section each day, and then if we have spare time we go back and explore things we might have missed a previous day. For this section we actually spent 2 partial days exploring Upper Geyser Basin, Biscuit Basin & Midway Geyser Basin, and that included a travel day with our RV from Colter Bay in Grand Teton to West Yellowstone. I think we could have done it all in a really long day, probably about 12 hours including driving time from Grand Teton to West Yellowstone, but I wasn't confident in finding RV parking at Old Faithful, we have now discovered that if you get to Old Faithful before 8am parking isn't much of an issue, at least in September.
