LEAMINGTON SPA TO WARWICK KAYAK

This video is of my 4.5 miles kayak on the Leam River and Avon River from Leamington Spa to Warwick on the 21 September 2024. Discover what it’s like paddling on the Leam River through the regency town of Leamington Spar See how I managed to negotiate the 2 weirs long this route and how I joined onto the larger Avon River for the second half of the journey. Find out about the magnificent Warwick castle near to the end of the route. Kayaking the Avon River has bene great fun and I've really enjoyed exploring this interesting river. This was also my first trip on the Leam River, an interesting tributary of the larger Avon River. On this trip I was using an Aqua Spirit inflatable kayak. This is a single skin pvc hybrid inflatable which has a high pressure drop stitch floor and lower pressure side tubes. The side tubes inflate to 2.5psi and the drop stitch floor inflates to a higher pressure of 8psi I was using the solo version of the Aquaspirt kayak which is 325cm long and which weighs just over 10kg It’s a relatrively light kayak which I would be glad for later when I had to carry it around the 2 weirs on this route.
