Assassin's Creed: Can it be Saved?

Assassin’s Creed, a franchise I’ve been playing for longer than I haven’t. It’s a franchise that I have a muddy history with. It’s the games that got me into parts of history like the Renasaunse, the French Revolution and caring about the 7 year war. It’s also the same franchise that felt like it lost it’s way when trying it’s best to stay alive because it was learning all the wrong lessons. It went from the series I would look forward to on a yearly basis to one that makes me feel nothing more than disdain when I see a new product by Ubisoft. It’s the franchise that I grew up with, and loved deeply but also have massive amounts of hate towards the way they have treated this small open-world title that has stealth mechanics mixed in.
