Our First Trip to Chimney Rock State Park After Hurricane Helene
We decided to take an evening trip up to Chimney Rock State Park in North Carolina. This is our first time back in the area since Hurricane Helene. A lot has changed, but the views and the atmosphere still feel just as good. The trails were quiet, the air felt cooler as the sun started dropping, and the whole park had that calm, end‑of‑day vibe you only get in the mountains.
