We received a gift in the mail from one of our viewers in Kentucky

If you have been following along our longer videos, you’ll know that we have been getting quite a few packages in the mail addressed for Jared, Howard, and our print shop exhibit. Social media has connected us with people from all over the world and we sometimes get wonderful gifts from followers. We received a package in the mail addressed from Donna in Villa Hills, Kentucky. In this video, Howard opened the package consisting of a number of engraving plates and small letterpress cuts. At the end of this video, Howard letterpress printed one of the electrotypes using our Washington hand press. This print is of the logo for the Sherwin-Williams paint company. While we don’t have an intaglio press for printing the engraving plates, they are a great tool to discuss different types of printing.
