At first, they bit right away. I thought, "Maybe today's the day!" But then it was a long wait. The rising water had ruined the good spots, and everywhere I looked, it felt like "this isn't the place." I looked around at many locations, and finally managed to get in the evening. I hesitated about going home, and just when I decided this would be my last attempt, I changed just "one thing." And then, finally, I caught one.
