念願の道東で…息を呑む瞬間

Eastern Hokkaido was a place I'd always wanted to visit this year. The river I stepped on for the first time was so quiet that I felt a little nervous, but also calm... It had a strange atmosphere. On an expedition, Choosing a good spot is really difficult, and you often spend a lot of time walking while asking yourself, "Is this the right place?" At first, no matter how much I cast, there was no bite, and to be honest, there were moments when I thought, "Today might be tough..." But, I didn't want to give up on the river just yet, so I decided to walk a little further, and cast a little more. And as I continued like this, there came "that moment" when it felt like the still atmosphere of the river had suddenly changed. I think it's that moment, why I want to come back, whether for an expedition or just to fish.
