Savory Cheese pie (with homemade dough) This recipe is one of the best cheese pies I have ever tried and I really recommend. I made a fluffy brioche bread-like dough and filled it with salty cheese filling (I used a Romanian local speciality cheese but you can use Greek feta cheese instead) Ingredients for the dough (I used a 20x40 cm baking tray lined with parchment paper): 500g all purpose four (+/- 50g for dusting) 250ml warm milk (I used whole milk) 7g dry instant yeast 40g melted butter 30ml vegetable oil (I used sunflower seed oil) 50g granulated white sugar 1 medium egg (room temperature) half teaspoon of salt Ingredients for the cheese filling: 300g greek feta cheese (or other salty type cheese) 300g cream cheese (cottage cheese or ricotta) 2 large eggs (room temperature) a pinch of salt You will also need: 50g melted butter and 1 beaten egg for brushing the pies ------------------------------------------------ Hope you enjoyed this VIDEO and hope you try my recipe and if you do, don't forget to leave a comment bellow 👇 ------------------------------------------------ If you like my recipes please give me a LIKE and SUBSCRIBE for more homemade desserts and sweet treats.
