Probably the toughest play in lacrosse box lacrosse is when a ball bounces up in the air and the closest player to the balls landing spot jumps as high in the air as they can to get it, knowing that as soon as possess the ball the players below are legally allowed to cross-check them (possibly in the ribs because their arms are also in the air). It takes a lot of skill and guts to jump up at the perfect time at corral this loose ball at the peak of your jump and that is the exact skill that is learned in the age old game of jackpot.
