After weeks of trying to resolve a problem on her own with a nearly R$3,000 mattress that arrived defective, retired Irma Rodrigues, a resident of the Federal District, managed to get the product replaced after contacting the Consumer Patrol. According to her, the mattress presented problems immediately after delivery and, even after several attempts to contact the store, there was no immediate solution. During the action, the product was taken back to the store for negotiation. Initially, the store informed her that it would be necessary to wait for an evaluation from the manufacturer, but after the team's mediation, the consumer received a new mattress.
