HOW to WATER YOUR GRASS in the Summer

In this video, I'm going to teach you HOW to WATER YOUR GRASS in the Summer. In the Summertime, all grass types (Cool Season Grass and Warm Season Grass) need watering in the summer months. Warm Season Grasses (Bermuda grass) tend to thrive, spread in the heat. But Cool Season Lawns will slow down in top/root growth in the heat. Especially when the temperatures are consistently over 85 degrees. When this happens, Cool Season Grasses will go into dormancy (turning brown). Most people think that they're grass is dead but it just in defense mode protecting itself. So watering is key in the summer months inorder to keep your grass green. Grass needs atleast 1 inch of water per week to survive the summer heat. In this video, I show you how to achieve that 1 inch mark and what tools that you'll need to use. I hope this video helps you in your journey towards keeping your lawn green in the summer. Thanks for watching.
