Cardinal 3 hours after hatching

As a continuation of my Fight for Flight series this video steps it up a notch in HD, and much improved camera angle. Regretfully this chick did not survive through the second day due to cold/wet weather. The mother continues to warm the two remaining eggs to hopefully complete this series with Flight. Although the incubation period is now on day 13, so it is not looking good unless the cold weather has extended this period.
