⁴ᴷ Osaka: Sakaihigashi Station (大阪府: 堺東駅) - Japan Walking Tour (December, 2024)

As it’s getting colder, I’m heading to western Japan. Initially, I planned to tour the major cities of Shikoku, but after crossing the sea, I took a ferry from Tokushima to Wakayama, then traveled north to Kishiwada City in Osaka Prefecture, and from there, I moved on to Sakai City. Sakai City has the second-largest population in Osaka Prefecture, after Osaka City. Among its train stations, Sakaihigashi Station is said to be the most frequently used, so I decided to visit. Naturally, there’s also Sakai Station, so I wondered if that might be the city’s main station.
