0x0029.1 - HP86 New 3D Printed Key Stems: Disassembly and Design
I decided it was time to make some new parts for an old computer. So first off, here are the important links: New Key Stem Designs: https://github.com/AkBKukU/series80-t... Keyboard PCB Images: https://imgur.com/a/HubFCtn Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:287... If you want to see the design process for the key stem I streamed it here: • LIVE - 3D Printing HP Series 80 Key Parts ... As of the posting of this video the github repo for the design isn't super well documented and I don't have it up on thingiverse yet. I'll get that sorted out for the conclusion in the next video. Yes I know the case has yellowed like crazy, no I will not be retrobriting it anytime soon. The only thing I've attempted that on did not turn out well and I will not use this computer a guinea pig for that. This video has taken me over a week to record and really messed up my production schedule. I split it into two for a few reasons. I don't have the second part edited yet and there's still a lot of footage to go through. But it will be the next video out.
