Since 2004, the amount of support has changed. The goal of the premium, to facilitate the start-up of young farmers, has remained constant. Currently, up to 300,000 złoty is available. Current support mechanisms designed for organic farmers, or those that give them preferential treatment, have yielded tangible results in the form of an increase in the number of organic producers and the area managed according to organic production principles. We currently have 763,000 hectares of organic land, the highest in our history. We would like to sincerely thank everyone for this increase – farmers, processors, advisors, consumers – all without whom we would not be able to speak of these significant increases today.
