20 Minute Chair Yoga Video : Move Into Stillness
Join me for this 20 minute chair yoga break for movement and connection. We begin by checking in with our posture and our breath. We practice some gentle easy movements to wake up the body before we add in some quick flows including our Warrior 2 Arms, High Lunge, and Hand To Big Toe. We then add in some chair pose variations before we end with our strong Goddess Pose as we take a moment of stillness. Remember to always go at your own pace. Focus on the breath first, and then the movements. I create my chair yoga sequences and exercises while keeping in mind common mobility restrictions. I eliminate any loaded spinal flexion in the seated position as well as full rotation of the spine in the poses. Be sure to always do what is right for you. There is always a way to modify and still get all the benefits!
