Why a Regular Weekend in My Life is Better than a Holiday!

Hi I'm Mel Moss and Welcome to We Dreamed of Spain. I along with my husband Dave, our three children and our Mini Lassie Merry moved to Spain two years ago to chase a dream I've had my entire life which is to live in Spain. Over the past two years we have lived in several towns and cities, rented an apartment here in Malaga, made friends, bought a car and built a life that we love. There have been extreme highs and deep deep lows and we wouldn't change any of it. I am Spanish deep into my soul. Its not enough for me to live it, I feel a strong desire to share the real Spain with the world. When people think about Spain, they often imagine a two-week holiday filled with sunshine, great food and unforgettable experiences. For us, this is everyday life. In this week's video, we're soaking up a typical weekend on the Costa del Sol. From beachfront Chiringuitos and Corpus Christi celebrations to a long Sunday family lunch and the excitement of a local football semi-final, we're sharing the moments that make life in Spain feel so special.
