33 Seconds of Chaos

n this episode, I talk with Yuri Shikhanovich about his game 33 Seconds of Chaos: 33 Seconds of Chaos is a party game for 3 to 8 players that teaches in about two minutes. On your turn, you flip a Word card. The player to your left calls a random number from 1 to 12 to choose what you play. Most of the time you get a word and draw a Chaos card to clue it out in 33 seconds. Sometimes you reveal a "Showdown!" card and trigger a Duel instead. Flip a Word card. The player to your left calls 1 to 12. If you hit a Word, draw a Chaos card. It tells you how you must give clues. Start a 33 second timer (use your phone timer). Give clues while everyone else shouts guesses. First correct guess scores. You and the guesser each get 1 point. If you got a Showdown!, you draw a Duel card instead. Could be head-to-head or table-wide. For 2 players a neutral Judge runs the duel. Winner gets 2 points. Duels have no time limit. Put used cards on the bottom of their decks. Play moves clockwise. After 3 rounds, the highest score wins.
