Emoções ruins: o que elas nos ensinam?
There are good emotions and bad emotions. But even bad emotions have a good side, did you know? I talk about this with pride in my book, *The Good Side of the Bad Side*, released this week by Sextante publishing house. It's a different and somewhat crazy project; after all, we always associate self-help with positivity, right? In this case, it's the opposite. One thing has always intrigued me: if bad emotions have persisted throughout our human evolution, it's because they have a function. Could uncovering this purpose allow us to live better? I'm sure that even after taking courses, reading, or studying about positive emotions, you've never gotten rid of sadness. That's why it's interesting to discover the origin of these emotions, to have a better quality of life. Emotions function like alarms: they serve to trigger this mechanism when a situation occurs, prompting you to act. In the video, I explain exactly how this happens. The idea is to understand what these emotions show us so we can act on the root of the problem, understanding what is happening. The book The Good Side of the Bad Side has five chapters based on basic emotions such as sadness, fear, anger, disgust, and joy. What is the advantage or the good side of each of these emotions? That's what you'll see in the next videos I'll be bringing to the channel. You might find the chapter on joy strange: in it, I talk about the bad side of this emotion. Curious, isn't it? Each emotion conveys a message. We need to understand them to improve our interpersonal communication. Bad emotions are unpleasant, but they signal important things that we need to interpret. Well, follow along here to better understand bad emotions! Share this video with anyone who likes to better understand what they feel. Want to know more about the book?
