Perfekt geplant: Möbelbau im Van mit Alu-Profilen

Now things are getting serious – we're starting to build the furniture in our Ford Transit Custom "Henry." 🚐🔧 Before we start sawing and screwing, I'll first show you my conversion plan on the computer: how I planned the interior, what I pay attention to beforehand, and why good planning is half the battle when converting a campervan. The entire furniture substructure is made from 20x20 aluminum profiles. The system is extremely stable, modular, and offers a major advantage: changes and adjustments are possible even later without having to cut up finished furniture pieces. For the connections, I'm using corner connectors with screws and hammerhead nuts. This allows the profiles to be mounted flexibly and aligned precisely. The furniture panels will later be attached to the structure with concealed panel corner connectors. A tip from the community (thanks for the suggestion): There are also "swivel-in T-nuts" – you can also insert these into the profiles later! A modular conversion that remains lightweight, stable, and adaptable—exactly how we envisioned our van conversion.
