With National Awakening, Austria has become a nation with as diverse a series of paths to follow as it has diverse cultures in its population. The Dual Monarchy, the Triple Monarchy, the Federal Solution and the Neo-Absolutist path are all interesting for sure, but the Fascist Austrian path is on centered on Catholic identity, and by mixing it with multiculturalism, you can create a very interesting nation in concept. When I play Victoria 3, I like to build my society according to some kind of internal logic, and Austria's Standestaat is an internal logic that can be hard to parse, but does sort of make sense.
