Breakthroughs in Cancer: Carolyn Bertozzi, PhD | Stanford Cancer Institute
"Targeting the Glycocalyx for Cancer Immune Therapy," presented by Nobel Laureate and BIC inaugural speaker Carolyn Bertozzi, PhD. Bertozzi is Professor of Chemistry and Professor of Chemical & Systems Biology at Stanford University. In late 2022, Bertozzi was awarded the Nobel Prize in chemistry for her development of bioorthogonal reactions, which allow scientists to explore cells and track biological processes without disrupting the normal chemistry of the cell. #oncology #cancerresearch #immunotherapy Learn more about our Breakthroughs in Cancer seminar series: https://med.stanford.edu/cancer/train...
