How do you wear it? Jenni Burrows - Textile Artist
How do you communicate without speaking? Jenni Burrows is a textile artist. She used textile art as a therapy while experiencing diagnosis and treatment of skin Lymphoma. Skin Lymphoma is a rare cancer of the blood that is only in the layers of the skin in her case. Fewer than 10 out of every million people in the UK develop the disease each year. It behaves more like a long-term chronic skin condition than like a cancer. 'How do you wear it?' explores the effects skin lymphoma has on Jenni's life, she is currently creating wearable art to show what the hidden disease is like to wear on your skin.
