Removing the Hardtop for the First Time on my '97 Jeep TJ
Project TJ - working on my 1997 Jeep Wrangler. It's the SE version of a TJ with a 2.5L four cylinder and a standard transmission. At the time of making this video, the Jeep had ~204,000 miles on it. I’ve been wanting to remove the hard top for a while not, but also afraid to do it because I don’t know how fragile Previous Owner might have left it. But since it seems like there could be a leak, better to go after it and try to figure it out. This isn’t really a “how to” video so much as a “join the adventure” video as we see what might (or might not) be lurking. At the end of the video I also provide an update on TDSR’s other issues (rear end noise and oil leak).
