An Introduction to **PROJECT TJ** - This Was A Smart Idea, Right?

Originally posted October 31, 2020 I purchased a 1997 Jeep Wrangler TJ with a 2.5L Inline 4 cylinder, standard transmission! It as around 204,000 miles on it and is intended to be my son's vehicle when he turns 16 in ~6 months. This baby needs a lot of work and I'm sure there are bound to be some surprises as we work our way through it. This video is an introduction to our new Jeep - its sights, sounds, and thoughts on what lies ahead. While my first car was a standard transmission 1989 Buick Skyhawk, my only Jeep experience is my 2011 3.8L V6 Wrangler JKU.
