GRADED HOCKEY WRAPPERS: 1964 TOPPS "TALL BOYS", 1968-69 OPC, 1970 OPC, 1971 OPC + ALL 3 SERIES 1972

While we did not have a table at the recent Toronto Sports Card Expo, Ken Whitmell from AA sports cards was on the show floor, meeting customers and picking up consignments. We want to thank this collector for choosing us to help him sell some of the vintage hockey wrappers from his collection. All of these are graded by ICERT, a leading authenticator for vintage wrappers. For those who were young kids in the mid 60's or early 70's, wrappers can transport us back to the corner/variety store, where 10 cents bought you an up close look at your heroes in living color. But until you could see what cards were inside (and chew the gum), you had to tear the wrapper off the cards. Meant to be "instantly destroyed", the wrappers in this collection have survived in remarkable condition!
