In this video, the fifth in my series on AC Electricity, we explore how current relates to the voltage, in resistor, capacitor and inductor circuits (RLC Circuits). We realise that resistance is not the only factor affecting this, and that we also need to consider Reactance. We then propose a third quantity, Impedance, that ties it all together. We derive the impedance and reactance of resistors, capacitors and inductors.
