Arroz a Piamontese @CookFork

Hi everyone, this Piedmontese rice recipe was requested by Marcelo Bulhões, I hope you like it. Don't forget to subscribe to the channel; there's a new video every week =D Recipe: 3 cups cooked white rice 1/2 chopped onion Olive oil 1 cup cream 1/2 cup milk + 1/2 cup milk 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese 4 sliced mushrooms Salt and black pepper Instructions: Start by placing a pan over high heat and adding a little olive oil. Once hot, add half a chopped onion and sauté well. Then, add 3 cups of cooked white rice and sauté a little more. Add 1 cup cream, 1/2 cup milk, and 1 cup of good grated Parmesan cheese. Lower the heat and stir well. I'm going to make a very simple Piedmontese rice dish and just add 4 sliced mushrooms, but you can spice it up however you like by adding ham, another cheese, peas—get creative. Adjust the seasoning with black pepper and, if necessary, add salt; in my case, I didn't need it. Now, as soon as it starts to thicken, I'll add another 1/2 cup of milk and let it thicken to the desired consistency. Then, just serve. Here, I'll add a little more grated Parmesan cheese on top and some chives for garnish. Enjoy! Serves: 3 to 4 people Shelf life: 4 days Cost of the dish: R$5 Also check out our mashed potato recipe:    • Como fazer Purê de Batatas @CookFork   And how to cook white rice:    • Como fazer Arroz Branco Simples @CookFork   - Have you liked our pages?
