Homemade Breads – Culinary Arts The traditional bread from Vale de Ílhavo was featured on Praça da Alegria on March 27, 2019, as part of the Bakers' Route, which takes place in Ílhavo from March 28 to 31. The program hosted several bakers, including Francelina Vidal, who made delicious homemade breads. Check out the recipe below. Homemade Breads – Francelina Vidal's Recipe Ingredients: 1 kg of Type 65 wheat flour; 10 g of coarse salt; 30 g of fresh yeast; Water as needed. Preparation: In a bowl, mix all the ingredients. After mixing well, let it rest (rise). When the dough has doubled in volume, it is ready to be worked. Shape the dough into balls on a baking sheet and let them rest a little longer. Meanwhile, the wood-fired oven has already heated up and is ready to receive the dough, which is placed on a peel, giving it the shape of a loaf.
