Surviving the 272 Steps of Batu Caves! 🇲🇾 (Monkey Mafia Warning!)

I thought my last day in Malaysia would be simple… until I found myself climbing 272 colorful steps in the tropical heat. From watching out for the monkey mafia to ending the day surrounded by Indian food and Kuala Lumpur's city lights, this day kept surprising me. My last full day in Malaysia took me to the famous Batu Caves, where I learned why planning your outfit matters, why you should never underestimate the monkeys, and why this place leaves such a strong impression on visitors from around the world. After making it to the top, I explored the massive cave before stopping for another roti and mango lassi. Trying more Indian food was one of the highlights of my trip, and every meal made me appreciate Malaysia's mix of cultures even more. Later, I jumped aboard the KL Hop-On Hop-Off Bus to see more of Kuala Lumpur without walking through the afternoon heat.
