HOCHKALTER (2607m) | Traverse via Schöner Fleck and Ofental #mountainlovers #hochkalter ► Tour Description From the Seeklause campsite (9 euros / day) at Hintersee, we first head via the Schärenalm to the Blaueishütte. From there, the trail leads us to the first crux of the tour, the ascent to Schöner Fleck (easy climbing, grade 1). We continue along the ridge to the second crux of the tour, the so-called Plattenwand (also easy climbing, grade 2). Via Kleinkalter, we finally reach the summit of Hochkalter. From here, we initially descend gently into the Ofental, where the finest gravel awaits. Finally, we return through the Klausbachtal to Hintersee.
