John Deere Dubuque 430 2 Cylinder Engine Disassembly Part Two, Restoration Episode 6

The second of two videos documenting the engine disassembly portion of my 1960 John Deere 430 Standard restoration project. In part two we continue investigating the internals of the two cylinder engine. We start by removing a few more external components and ultimately finish with a bare engine block. Removal of the hydraulic pump, governor, crankshaft pulley, clutch/flywheel, oil pan, oil pump, various seal retainers, camshaft, cam followers, pistons, connecting rods, and crankshaft are covered in the video. My techniques and tools are probably not the industry standard, my approach to what is removed is random and haphazard. Just remember, I have no training or credentials that justify me walking anyone thru this process or this project. I do have years of experience working on/restoring my own tractors; I also have a doctorate degree that justifies the "Doc" in "TractorDoc." Listen to what I say and do what I do at your own risk.
