We were looking for the happy ending we are used to see in movies or cartoons, where everything can be figured out with the success of the main character, a victory or a beautiful love story. That was what we hoped, but we knew we where in the real life. There was nobody writing our script and our happy ending. We didn't have any certainty that things would be fine. We had a plan and we were trying to make it work. But we had to improvise at some point. Yes. Because sometimes plans are made to be messed up.
