Please check it out after watching the video. ◆Breakfast Price The breakfast mentioned here can be ordered as an add-on even if you're not staying in a Speciale Room. Both the Bella Vista Lounge and room service breakfast are 5,500 yen per adult (starting April 1, 2026). ◆A MiraCosta Expert!? In providing this MiraCosta background information and details, I consulted numerous blogs and other sources (please check them out for yourself). I was really impressed by how this has transcended mere enthusiasts into the realm of academics. It's similar to the concept of EPCOT at Disneyland Florida; EPCOT is educational content like Gakken, even though the gateway is Disney. The way they've managed to tie these two together so well was captivating, even for an adult like me. A museum where you can stay overnight—that's exactly what this hotel is! ◆Room Numbers As I was researching, I found some die-hard Disney geeks who had exhaustively researched not only the location of each Speciale Room type, but also their room numbers. Of course, I don't think this information came from an insider, so I imagine they must have traveled to the park themselves to find the room numbers. It must have been quite a painstaking task, but it was both incredibly helpful and surprising. ◆Room Requests As mentioned briefly in the video, I'm sure everyone has their own requests for a specific room, even within the same room type. It's only natural, considering the high hotel prices and the slightly different shapes and orientations. I imagine the hotel would be shocked if you even looked up the room number and made a request like, "Room XXX, please." Of course, it's understandable that your request may overlap with other guests' requests, and of course, due to various other circumstances, it's not guaranteed. To avoid becoming one of those "bad guests," please make sure to avoid excessive demands and observe proper etiquette when booking. ◆The Amazingness of Disney's Online Check-in I've omitted the detailed explanation here, but a completely face-to-face room entry system is still difficult to implement legally in Japan. To identify guests in the event of a fire or food poisoning outbreak at the hotel and to prevent criminal activity, multiple laws require the reservation holder to complete the necessary procedures in person at the front desk before entering the room. Some Marriott hotels overseas already offer mobile check-in and mobile key issuance via the app, making face-to-face check-in a reality. However, even if technically possible in Japan, legal concerns could expose the hotel to penalties, so very few hotels have actually implemented this system. Despite this, Disney hotels have made this possible. It's a bold move, but it's only possible because the system is tightly integrated with the official app's identity authentication system, which likely means they have some way of verifying that the person actually making the reservation is the person actually staying. From a fraud prevention perspective, the hotel's security cameras are likely more securely installed, and we can assume that the system can at worst track people's behavior within the park and whether it matches their hotel stay.
