XDA Super Stock Eliminations - Heads up Naturally Aspirated Stock Motorcycle Drag Bike Racing

XDA – 4th annual FuelTech Superbike Showdown Maryland International Raceway June 18-20, 2021 HTP Performance Super Stock Winner – David Fondon / Runner-up – Darion Payne #1 Qualifier – Zachary Applegate 8.808 For the third event in a row, Zachary Applegate took the #1 qualifying position in HTP Performance Super Stock, and class champion David Fondon made a final-round appearance. In round two of competition, we saw the closest race in XDA history between Curtis McDougald and Blake Johnson. Both riders cut identical .190 reaction times, and both ran equal ET’s of 8.995. However, the win went to McDougald with a 155.52 mph to Johnson’s 155.38 for a margin of victory of just .0001, less than half an inch! Darion Payne, a multi-talented rider, made his first final round appearance in Super Stock at the FuelTech Superbike Showdown. Payne cut a better light in the final against Fondon for the starting line advantage, but a wheelie sixty feet out for Payne would neutralize that advantage. But riders got tucked into their machines quickly as they raced down to the finish line.
