Witnessing History: Real Street Records CRUSHED at XDA

XDA – Xtreme Motorcycle Drag Racing Association 39th annual MTC Engineering Summer Nationals Virginia Motorsports Park May 15-17, 2026 DME Racing Real Street Winner - Jamie Lopes Runner-up - Jayden Litten ET Record - Bruce Emmanuel 7.212 MPH Record - Jamie Lopes 211 The DME Racing Real Street class delivered one of the most memorable weekends in recent XDA history at the MTC Engineering Summer Nationals, highlighted by a record-breaking qualifying performance, a new speed benchmark, and the emergence of a rising young star in one of the sport's most competitive categories. Before eliminations even began, Bruce Emanuel sent shockwaves through the class by resetting the DME Racing Real Street elapsed-time record with a stunning 7.212-second pass aboard his Harley-Davidson bagger. In a category traditionally dominated by lightweight, high-horsepower import motorcycles, Emanuel's performance was nothing short of extraordinary. Not only did he secure the number-one qualifying position, but he also became the quickest rider in class history, proving that V-Twin performance has officially arrived in a major way. While Emanuel grabbed headlines during qualifying, Jamie Lopes would ultimately leave Virginia Motorsports Park with the winner's trophy. The St. Eustatius racer entered eliminations as the third qualifier and immediately demonstrated the consistency that would carry him through the ladder. Lopes opened with a 7.307-second victory over Jayden Angela before defeating Marcus Hylton in round two with a strong 7.319 at 209.49 mph. In the semifinals, Lopes faced second qualifier Nick Hamlett in one of the toughest matchups of the day. Lopes responded with one of the most impressive runs of eliminations, blasting to a 7.315 at a blistering 213.70 mph. Although the pass exceeded the existing class speed record, it could not be backed up under record procedures and therefore did not qualify as a new official mark. Nevertheless, it served notice that Lopes had one of the fastest motorcycles in the field. The final round produced another compelling storyline as Lopes lined up against Jayden Litten. The North Carolina racer has quickly become one of the class's most exciting newcomers, reaching the final round in only his second appearance in DME Racing Real Street competition. Litten's path to the final included victories over Caleb Holt, Brandon Litten, and none other than record-setting top qualifier Bruce Emanuel, making his runner-up finish one of the breakout performances of the weekend. When the final tree dropped, Lopes delivered once again. His .059 reaction time and 7.374 at 208.75 mph were enough to hold off Litten's 7.450 at 200.71 mph, securing the DME Racing Real Street victory. The weekend also saw Lopes establish a new official class speed record of 211.00 mph during qualifying, adding yet another accomplishment to an already impressive performance. Combined with Emanuel's record-setting 7.212 qualifying run, the event showcased just how quickly the DME Racing Real Street category continues to evolve. By the end of the weekend, Real Street fans had witnessed history on multiple fronts. Bruce Emanuel rewrote the record books with the quickest pass ever recorded in the class, Jamie Lopes captured the victory while setting a new speed standard, and newcomer Jayden Litten announced his arrival as a future contender by reaching the final round in just his second outing. For a class already known for producing dramatic storylines, the MTC Engineering Summer Nationals may have set a new benchmark. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - ⭐ Video Courtesy of http://www.SchnitzRacing.com ✅ Brock's Performance - https://dragbike.us/brocks 👕 BUY Merch - http://dragbike.com/merch - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 🔔 Don't Miss the Action - SUBSCRIBE & GET NOTIFIED 📣    / dragbikecom   📲 FOLLOW US Official Site: http://www.dragbike.com Facebook:   / dragbikecom   Instagram:   / dragbikecom   YouTube:    / @dragbikeracing
