Ruaha National Park Tanzania 2nd Full Day Safari Upriver into Quartzite Studded Hills

On November 10, 2025, we experienced a 2nd Full Day of Safari in Tanzania's amazing Ruaha National Park. Instead of following dry river downstream to reach wetland, like done on Day 1, we jeeped up valley into a harsher region of dry brush forestry and hills of volcanic soils loaded with quartz. Large fast running herds of game grazed dry brush and sought relief below shade trees. Elephant, Zebra, giraffe, impala, other antelope and many other birds seek refuge in this region.
