Ruaha National Park, Tanzania Day One: Iringa to Camp Ifuguru

Ruaha National Park in Tanzania is much less visited than Sarengetti and Arusha, which is why I went there. On day one of this adventure we leave Sunset Lodge, stop at legendary Hehe chief's museum, then continue on dirt road past several Greek Orthodox churches before arriving at park entrance. Once inside we proceed toward our special campsite, stopping to observe impala, great kuru, rock hyrax, and 2 lions. We arrive in the dark at campsite that has splendid view over the Mwagusi River.
