you don’t need another art tutorial - here’s why…

In today's video, I experiment with oil pastels and talk about my own struggles with consuming more than creating. I used to watch all the art tutorials and get overwhelm and discouraged because I didn't think I could do the same thing the tutorial showed. I would spend so much time watching, and not creating. I am not saying tutorials do not help, but most of the time, we just need to dive in and experiment and come up with our own unique approach to art. Let our own creativity come from within. Art can be fun and playful and we don't need to get caught up in creating "in the same way" as so and so. (Note: I meant to change the camera angle to come closer to the art, but I got caught up creating, so were going with it. 🙌) I’m exploring oil pastels inspired by one of my subscribers, “Emily”. Emily is working hard to grow her channel and become more comfortable on camera. She shares thoughtful conversations around “blooming rather than withering away later in life”. I’m sharing her channel below, and would love if you could show her some encouragement! 🫶 🌺 Check out Emily's channel: Emily is creating a calm and peaceful channel with art and thoughtful conversation ‪@Yoursecondbloom1226‬ 🎨 Interested in the Art Retreat in the Smokies?
