Tom Was Here: Waldameer Park - Erie, PA - September 2023

I was near the Erie, PA area and decided on a whim with limited time to visit Waldameer Park. I know I visited Waldameer before but don’t believe I rode any rides. So I wanted to change that and it started with Whacky Shack, the classic dark ride. I always like to visit dark rides when I can find them. The 2nd one was the walkthrough attraction Pirate’s Cove. Outside of Noah’s Ark - I didn’t ever go through an amusement park walkthrough attraction. So it was cool to experience that. The last ride was the Sky Ride, what better way to look at a park you are unfamiliar with then by headed up to the sky to overview. It was a quick trip to the park but it was cool to walk around for a bit to see it. I’ll definitely be back to visit.
