The Haunts of Waldameer Park
In June of 2022, Dark in the Park took a trip to Waldameer Park in Erie, PA to check out two classic Bill Tracy attractions. The Wacky Shack was built in 1970 and the Pirate's Cove was built in 1972. These rides are meticulously maintained and still contain the majority of the original Bill Tracy stunts. The Waldameer Wacky Shack is the last known operating one in the world. Randy Skalos, the caretaker of these dark rides, provided us with an exclusive interview and tour of the rides.
