富士スピードウェイでタイムを出す上で最重要の最終コーナー攻略法を、特別にコース上から究極の解説でお伝えします

This special video, filmed from the Fuji Speedway track (a place normally off-limits), provides a thorough explanation of how to conquer the crucial final corner. The order in which you should tackle the course depends on the combination of the amount of curve, speed range, and length of the straightaway. The longer the straightaway after a corner, the greater the reward for a successful run. Corners with large curves and low speeds carry less risk. Based on this, at FSW, the first corner, hairpin, and final corner have high priority, with each corner in the third sector having a similar priority. Therefore, the key is to "prioritize the final corner, and master S3 (speed range) to achieve this." Needless to say, if your entry isn't good, you can't accelerate at the exit, and this tendency is stronger with more powerful cars. Also, changing direction while accelerating is difficult, so you want to change direction while decelerating. However, the scenery around the final corner is tricky, and it's easy to be tempted to go to the inside. Even knowing that going around from the outside is the correct approach, the fear of going wide prevents you from doing so. This happens because you're turning from the outside outwards, but only by properly handling this corner can you fully utilize your car's power on the long straight at Fuji Speedway and potentially improve your next lap time. This time, I've carefully analyzed and explained just one corner at walking speed, but doing this for every corner would take over two hours. Therefore, in the second half, I'll explain the entire course while driving a Hiace van around it in seven and a half minutes. It's crucial that you can visualize the course well enough in your mind to do this at this speed.
